Sssssh, Silence in the library ...

I'm simply loving my bookshelf quilt since I took it apart, rejiggled and added in a few elements. It's quite apt for me as I have a great love of books and English Literature.


Shakespeare just had to have a presence and I'm very pleased with how effective his profile is using a black newpaper print fabric.

Now for the basting, quilting and binding - it has to be finished by tomorrow. Nothing like a bit of pressure!!!

The Shakespeare bookend that you added does add a lot of interest. It's fun to change things up, add ideas to see what comes. Glad you are enjoying the process. :-D

i love the pieced borders you did around your BOM blocks -- do you have a pattern for them? really looks nice! good luck with your competition, and shakespeare looks great, the perfect addition!
