I've recently been feeling a little down and I often turn to reading your blogs for support, encouragement and inspiration with all your amazing creativity. I am also aware that we each have our ups and downs and I am far from alone in feeling overwhelmed and like there are never enough hours in the day to achieve all that we want.
I would like to say that you are each special and deserve to make some time in the day just for you, we are always busy with families, the home, shopping, cleaning, pets etc but it is quite alright to do something that is just for you.
As a little treat, just for you I have designed a little BOM called Take time to .... and each BOM aims to put a little perspective back in your lives, or if not then hopefully just cheer you up!! The blocks completed should measure 7.5" x 7.5" and I am going to make mine into a little quilt just for me ...! There will be nine blocks in total and i'm thinking of using some left-overs from my moda 'Posh' stash to sash them with - i'll keep you up to date with progress.
Please be sure to copy and paste my button into your sidebars, tell your friends and have some fun stitching away.
I have never done this before so bear with me if there are teething problems!!! You can find the link here or by clicking my side-button. Please feel free to use it for personal use and not for profit. Let me know how you get on!!!

It's very very cute!!! Such a lovely idea. I hope you are feeling brighter.
ps I'm not sure if it's me, but the link didn't work for me. Am I doing something wrong?
Hi Caroline,
What a great idea for a quilt! I love the idea! I will post it on my side bar soon. I haven't done much hand embroidery. I have a few questions: do you use a frame and fusible on the back and how you mark your embroideries?
Thank you!
Happy sewing!
Thanks for the cute stitchery. I have put a link to you on my freebies blog if that's okay....thanks Khris

Thank you for sharing your talent!
Thanks for sharing your creativity. I know just the person who needs this encouragement to take time for herself, so I'll be stitchin' along with you each month and will have a nice gift for her when it's done!
A small comment about your BOM (which is lovely), I would have liked the measurements of the block written on the instructions, as I had to switch the computer back on to find out! (Perhaps it's just me!)
Danke für den Bom, er ist wirklich toll. Gibt es die datei vielleicht auch ohne Anmeldung irgendwo? Wo sie jetzt liegt muss man angemeldet sein. So hat es nicht geklappt!
Gruß Guilitta
Looks fab :o)
Hope you are feeling better soon...hopefully we will see some warmer weather and that will help too.
So sweet of you!! We certainly have all felt the same as you and there is so much wonderful support here on the blogs Next post I'll add your button.
Hi Caroline, thankyou for such a sweet stitchery. I have been a little down at the moment and this is just the project I need. :-}
Looking forward to the rest of the blocks. Hugs from sandy.
I love this idea. I can't figure out how to print out the pattern, though. Is the "put your feet up" block the FIRST one or are the others on your sidebar part of the same series of 9 blocks??? Thanks for being so kind as to share this with us.
I finsihed the 1st block last month and I am getting ready to work on the 2nd block. Here is a link to my post on my blog http://allaboutmeandcrafts.blogspot.com/2011/01/take-time-toembroderiy-bom.html
